Dr. Hassan Mustafa has over 30 years of teaching and research experience. He began his career as a Lecturer of English at RSS Science College, Sitamarhi, where he worked for 10 years. In 1990, he was promoted to Reader/Associate Professor at the same college. In 1996, he joined S.R.K. Goenka College, Sitamarhi, as an Associate Professor in the Department of English. Additionally, he served as the Bursar/Finance Officer of the college for six years. Dr. Mustafa also held the position of Principal at S.R.K. Goenka College, Sitamarhi, for two years. He retired in 2022 from his role as Principal at the same institution.
