Experience

Dr. Ghazi Sharique Ahmad completed his MBBS from Katihar Medical College under B.N Mandal University, where he was awarded the Haji Ahmad Karim Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance. He began his career at Katihar Medical College as a tutor, serving in the Departments of Community Medicine and Anatomy before pursuing his postgraduate studies at BPKIHS, Dharan, Nepal. Upon returning, he joined the Department of Pediatrics, where he has served for over 20 years, including 7 years as Professor and Head of the department.

In addition to his duties in Pediatrics, Dr. Ahmad has efficiently served in various capacities, including Hospital Administrator, Medical Superintendent Incharge, Chairman of the Sports Council, and member of several important committees such as the College Council and Academic Council of the University. He has been recognized with the "Academician of the Year 2017" award by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Bihar, and the Purbanchal Pioneer Award by the East Zone IAP. Additionally, he is the Vice President of the Bihar Badminton Association.
