The department has 7 OPD rooms with adequate patient arrangement, equipment and teaching space. In addition to faculty members, the department is supported by occupational therapists, recreational therapist, social workers and other ancillary staff. Facilities for lithium estimation, psychological testing labs, care and stay of acute cases, chronic psychiatric care and interview techniques are also available.
The department has specialized services/speciality clinic like Substance abuse (De-addiction Services), Medico legal services (Psycho diagnostic facilities including psychological testing/ I.Q. testing Services for Child; Adolescent psychiatric/ psychological problems; Geriatric Psychiatric care and Community Psychiatry (help line and participation in national programme)
