Position: Senior OT Technician for OT Complex

Role: Non-Teaching, An experienced OT technician handles complex equipment setup, patient positioning, and intra-operative clinical assistance.

Location: Katihar Medical College, Al-Karim University, Katihar, Bihar

Closing date: 10th September 2026

Qualification: · Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) or B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology.

Experience:

· 5+ years of documented clinical experience assisting across multiple surgical specialties

Skills:

· Proficiency in operating equipment.

· Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Safety Protocols:

· Radiation Safety: Wearing lead aprons, thyroid shields, and tracking dosage with TLD badges during C-arm fluoroscopy procedures.

· Aseptic Technique: Maintaining absolute sterility when setting up surgical tables, skin prepping, and draped fields.

· Needle stick Prevention: Strict execution of safe sharp handling, single-handed needle recapping protocols, and immediate disposal in puncture-proof sharps boxes.
