Position: CSSD Technician

Role: Non-Teaching, A CSSD technician manages instrument cleaning and autoclaving.

Salary: Open to discussion

Location: Katihar Medical College, Al-Karim University, Katihar, Bihar

Qualification:

· High school (10+2) in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

· Diploma or Degree in CSSD / Operation Theatre Technology

Experience:

· Minimum three years of experience.

Skills:

· Proficiency in operating equipment.

Safety Protocols:

· Physical Safety: Use of heavy-duty, heat-resistant gloves when handling hot autoclave racks and biological indicators.

· Biological Waste Controls: Mandatory vaccination (like Hepatitis B) and compliance with strict Biomedical Waste Management (BMWM) and hospital infection control protocols.

· Zone Integrity: Strict one-way movement workflow from the dirty decontamination zone to the clean assembly and sterile storage zones.
