• EBSCO e-book Clinical Collection: contains over 4000 e-books, published by various publishers from across the world, consisting of Medical, Nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy subject areas.
• EBSCO Medline Complete: contains over 2000 e-resources (Academic Journals, Conference Proceedings, Magazines, Reports, Trade Publications) published by various publishers from across the world, consisting of Medical, Nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy subject areas.

Description

The central library of Katihar Medical College is located on the first floor of the college building. The library uses the second edition of Anglo-American Cataloguing Roles (AACR2) is used as a cataloging code.

The central library has three reading rooms for undergraduate students, one reading room for postgraduate students, and one reading room for staff.

The central library is equipped with internet, T.V., V.C.R, microfilm reading, printing, scanning, and photocopy facilities.

The central library has a total of physical 17,664 books, including 14,403 textbooks and 3,261 reference books. The latest edition of the books are purchased consistently.

The number of physical Indian journals and foreign journals subscribed annually is 42 each. All journals from January 2005 are kept in archives wherein the number of Indian journals is 2,185 and the number of foreign journals is 5,995.

Many departments have their own library located within the departments.
