Experience

Dr. Talat Ahmad has over 30 years of teaching and research experience. He began his career as a Junior Geologist with the Geological Survey of India. After a year, he moved to the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology in Dehradun, where he served as Scientist-B and Scientist-C for ten years. In 1988, he pursued a post-doctoral fellowship at the Department of Geology, University of Leicester, UK, under the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development Fellowship. Before joining Al-Karim University, Katihar, Dr. Ahmad retired as a Professor from the Department of Geology at the University of Delhi.
