  • Students belonging to Muslim Minority Community: 50% seats
  • Students belonging to general category: 35% seats
  • NRI Candidates: 15% seats (If NRI candidates are not available, the vacant seats will be filled up by the candidates from the competitive merit list and in that case NRI Fee structure shall be applicable)
  • The selected candidates on the requirement of the concerned authority will be bound to give service in this institution after successful completion of their internship as junior resident and he/she shall have to give a bond in this regard at the time of admission.

ACADEMIC SCHEDULE AND CURRICULUM


ALLOCATION OF SEATS

  • The graduate medical curriculum is oriented towards training students to undertake the responsibilities of a Physician of first contact who is capable of looking after the preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of medicine.
    • The academic year is divided into two semesters, each of six months’ duration. A semester consists of about 120 teaching days of 8 hours each during college working time, including one hour of lunch.
    • Four examinations, conducted by B.N.Mandal University, Madhepura, Bihar, India are held. They are called the first, second and third professional M.B.B.S. examinations, the latter being divided into Part-I & II. In each of the subjects, a candidate must obtain 50% in aggregate with a minimum of 50% in theory including oral and a minimum of 50% in practical.
    • Passing the 1st Professional M.B.B.S. examination is mandatory before proceeding on to the next phase of the training. Each subsequent professional examination, however, the student is allowed to the next phase of study.
    • Internal Assessment: Internal assessment comprise approximately of 20& of the total marks in a subject. To be eligible to appear for a University examination, the candidate should have obtained minimum 35% marks in internal assessment.
    • Attendance: Students must attend 75% of classes in the subject (including non-lecture teaching i.e. seminars, group discussions, tutorials, demonstrations, practicals, hospital (Tertiary, Secondary, Primary posting and bed side clinics etc.)) held in the college to be eligible to appear for a University Examination.

QUALIFICATION

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, Council or University and must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together. Candidates should have passed English as a compulsory/core subject. For candidates belonging to SC/ST or OBC, the minimum qualifying marks is 40% and for the candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs as defined by the MCI, the minimum qualifying marks is 45% taken together in qualifying examination.

AGE


The candidates must attain the minimum age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2018.

NEET


Candidates must have qualified NEET examination and obtained minimum marks of 50th percentile in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test’ held for academic year 2018-19.

HOW TO APPLY


NEET pass candidates apply online in the State Govt. website i.e. bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Then after he/she will be eligible to appear in counselling conducted by State Govt.

FEE STRUCTURE


  • The annual tuition fees shall be Rs.8,38,000.00 (Rupees twelve lacs and fifty thousand) per annum.
  • For Non Resident Indian/Foreign and other students admitted on seats reserved for NRI, the annual tuition fee shall be $25,000.00 (US) per annum.
    • This fee structure is applicable from session 2018-19 and may be revised after three years depending upon the budgetary needs of the institution and general economic parameters. Next revision of fee structure is due in the year 2021 and the revised fee shall be payable by all students.
    • The annual tuition fee is charged for the subsequent academic years payable annually. The selected and admitted students shall be required to deposit the annual tuition fee through Bank Draft each year before the end of the month of June failing which he/she shall not be allowed to appear at the university examination.
    • A candidate once admitted in the college shall not be allowed to leave the college without paying the full tuition fee for the remaining period of the MBBS Course.
    • At the time of admission while paying the tuition fee for 1st year through Bank Draft, the candidate shall also have to furnish Bank Guarantee/Bond for payment of tuition fee for the remaining period of MBBS Course.

    STUDENT AMENITIES FEE

    Rs.25,000.00 (Rupees twenty-five thousand) per annum (Transport, Sports, Gymnasium, Wi-Fi etc. as per the policy of the college)
